Day 1 and the boys are under way! Today we encountered log trucks 1 foot from the bike and local yocals throwing bottles at us (same a-holes 3 times!) But the route, scenery & weather was spectacular & we made the 78 miles to a beautiful campsite on the Skagit River, with, fortunately, a tavern across the street.. Tomorrow we only have 36 miles but the climbs to the Cascades begin.
